Dayton [Ohio] -- Just where two nice, fat young alligators came from is
puzzling city officials. J.E. Madigan, sewer superintendent, has the
reptiles, which were found by laborers in a sewer near the Miami river. A
third 'gator, in fleeing, was killed by a shovel in the hands of one of the
laborers.
